Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Pay:

  • 1st Shift: $21.50/hr
  • 2nd Shift: $23.00/hr

Hours per Shift: 8

Job Summary

This position supports the production of high‑quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell environment. Working under close supervision, the Medical Device Assembler performs a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.

Work is performed according to written and standardized procedures and is continuously reviewed to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to clearly communicate issues and solutions while supporting continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, repair, and test medical device components following standardized procedures
  • Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation
  • Handle and maneuver small components ensuring full traceability
  • Follow safety guidelines and support Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments preferred
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work with small components and use electronic data collection systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strict Dress Code Requirements

To maintain a controlled manufacturing environment, employees must comply with strict dress and grooming requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Clothing must be non‑shedding, clean, and free of loose fibers or contamination
  • No sweaters, fleece, loose‑knit fabrics, glitter, sequins, tassels, or fringes
  • Closed‑toe, closed‑heel shoes with socks required; no open shoes or sandals
  • No makeup, nail polish, acrylic nails, jewelry, or uncovered body piercings
  • All clothing must fit under required lab coats or gowns and fully cover the body
