Medical Assistant - Mercy South Ob/Gyn Clinic

Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

Qualifications

Education:� High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification(s): � MA Certification preferred but not required

Preferred Experience:� 1 year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by clinic

Primary Responsibilities:

·� � � � � � Stock exam rooms

·� � � � � � Documentation, scanning

·� � � � � � Point of care testing

·� � � � � � Basic in basket and refills

·� � � � � � Communicate with physician or APP

·� � � � � � Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards

·� � � � � � Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies

·� � � � � � Medication reconciliation, injection administration

·� � � � � � Schedule appointments, medical record releases

·� � � � � � Diagnostic and ancillary order entry
