Medical Assistant at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is FullTime and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the supervision of the Department Manager and Charge Nurse, the Medical Assistant will have both front and back-office duties.  The Department Manager will supervise front office tasks and responsibilities, and the Charge Nurse will supervise Medical Assistant tasks and responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification 
  • 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a community clinic setting.
  • 1 year of experience in community clinic billing/coding.
