Begin your journey as aMedical Assistant(MA) with the Health FirstMedical AssistantProgram in partnership with our two school partners:
·Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) in Cocoa or Palm Bay
·Treasure Coast Technical College (TCTC) in Vero Beach
As an MA, you will work alongside physicians, nurses and other office staff, mainly in medical offices and clinics:
• Measuring patients’ height, weight and blood pressure.
• Preparing patients for their exams.
• Updating medical records.
•Schedulingappointments.

Eastern Florida State College Program Details
• Tuition assistance – We will provide up to $5,000 financial assistance to cover the costs of your MA program tuition.
• Upon program completion, associates must agree to continue working as a full time MA at Health First for24 months.
•Prior to applying for the program, please take time to visit the EFSC website to learn more about the MA program.
Treasure Coast Technical College Program Details
• Tuition assistance – We will provide up to $2,300 financial assistance to cover the costs of your MA program tuition.
• Upon program completion, associates must agree to continue working as a full time MA at Health First for12 months.
•Prior to applying for the program, please take time to visit theTCTC websiteand to watch the shortorientation videoto learn more about the MA program. The video provides you valuable information on what to expect throughout the course of the program. The program is 7 months (765 hours) in length and is Monday - Friday daytime hours onsite in Vero Beach.
Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or GED, pass a background check, and gain Admission to EFSC or TCTCMedical Assistantprogram.
Only tuition is covered. Supplemental costs such as scrubs, books, labs, testing, and certification fees are not included
