Location: Quincy, ILPay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant ExperienceSchedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs)
About the Role:The Medical Assistant – ENT supports providers in delivering high-quality care within an ear, nose, and throat specialty setting. This role assists with both clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
Primary Responsibilities:Prepare patients for exams, including obtaining vital signs and medical history
Assist providers with ENT-specific procedures and treatments
Perform clinical tasks such as ear irrigations, suture removal, and specimen collection as directed
Document patient information accurately in EPIC
Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely rooming and turnover
Support scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care as needed
Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and equipment
Provide patient education and instructions as directed by providers

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required
Prior clinical experience preferred, especially in a specialty setting
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and ability to learn EPIC
