Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Cincinnati, Ohio, 45227. This is a 14-week contract hiring opportunity and a wonderful way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain patient flow throughout clinic hours
  • Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, height, and weight
  • Document patient history including medical, social, and family history
  • Prepare patients for examination and procedures
  • Assist with wound care, pressure bandages, and suture removal
  • Perform EKGs and other routine diagnostic tests as needed

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM- 35hr/week.
  • Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, 45227.
  • Pay Range: $20-22/hr.
  • Contract Length: 7 Weeks with possible extension.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant from a certifying body
  • Associate degree
