Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $24–$27/hour DOE

Role Overview

The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring seamless patient flow, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role partners closely with providers, nursing staff, and front office teams to maintain efficiency, uphold clinical standards, and create a welcoming, high-quality environment for every patient.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stocked, sanitized, and ready for procedures
  • Assist providers during consultations, treatments, and minor procedures
  • Perform patient intake, including vitals, medical history, and documentation in EMR
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure support and patient education as directed by providers
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and clinical standards

Patient Experience

  • Greet and room patients, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience throughout their visit
  • Anticipate patient needs and proactively support a high-touch, service-oriented environment
  • Reinforce provider instructions and ensure patients feel informed and confident in their care

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces at all times
  • Support inventory management, including tracking supplies and communicating restocking needs
  • Assist with clinic flow and scheduling coordination to minimize delays and optimize provider time

Administrative Support

  • Accurately document patient interactions and treatments in EMR systems (Nextech experience preferred)
  • Support cross-functional teamwork with front desk and patient experience teams as needed


Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (preferred) or equivalent clinical experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical or aesthetic setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, polished demeanor with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic setting


Preferred Experience
  • Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical aesthetics
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (Nextech preferred)
  • Exposure to cosmetic treatments and procedures
