Job Description

We are currently hiring Med Gas Plumbers to join our team here in Wesley Chapel, FL. You will be working on a new construction hospital, need to have a med gas certification, it's okay if its expired, looking for people to start this week, long term position with full benefits, pay starts at $34 an hour if interested APPLY NOW

Responsibilities

  • Lead plumbing activities on various commercial and multifamily apartment projects from rough-in through final installation.
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems using cast iron, PVC, copper, and related materials in accordance with project specifications and codes.
  • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and construction documents to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, fit, assemble, and secure pipes and fixtures.
  • Perform soldering and brazing on copper and other piping materials to ensure secure, leak-free connections.
  • Coordinate plumbing work with other trades on site to maintain project schedules and minimize conflicts.
  • Inspect completed work to verify compliance with quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, managing daily tasks, priorities, and time effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all site safety rules and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and site personnel regarding progress, issues, and material needs.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a plumber working on commercial construction and multifamily apartment projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents for plumbing installations.
  • Hands-on experience working with cast iron, PVC, and copper piping systems.
  • Proficiency with plumbing installation techniques, including piping layout, fitting, and fixture installation.
  • Skilled in soldering and brazing for secure, code-compliant piping connections.
  • Proficient use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing and construction.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks and project areas.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Medical gas certification is required (Can be expired)
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
  • Experience in new construction environments is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other trades and site personnel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wesley Chapel, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
