The Mechanical Technician Production Team in Atlanta assembles, maintains, and optimizes Altius unmanned aerial systems, emphasizing quality and safety. The role includes mechanical and electronic assembly, fabrication using hand and power tools, inventory checks, system tests, and quality assurance recording.

Responsibilities

Fabricate machined and composite components using hand and power tools
Perform inventory checks and communicate data to management
Conduct system tests and record QA data accurately
Light composites fabrication such as repairs and patchwork

Required Qualifications

Minimum 4+ years in manufacturing (aerospace, electronics, or medical preferred)
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email)
Strong organization and communication skills
Willingness to work overtime under tight deadlines
Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand throughout the day
Experience with hand tools, mechanical aptitude, technical drawings, and measuring tools
U.S. Person eligibility due to export control requirements
