Sr. Project Manager - Data Center Mechanical Construction

Location: Richmond/Fredericksburg, VA (Onsite Daily)

A leading national mechanical contractor is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support large scale data center construction projects in the Richmond / Fredericksburg corridor. This role will oversee mechanical and piping scopes including HVAC systems, chilled water, and mission-critical infrastructure on complex builds.

Key focus areas:

• Manage HVAC/piping installation on data center projects

• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement

• Drive schedule, manpower, safety, and project financials

• Coordinate directly with GCs, subs, and ownership teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical construction experience (HVAC/piping preferred)
• Experience on data center or mission-critical projects strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong coordination, scheduling, and project financial management skills
• Willingness to work onsite full-time in the Richmond/Fredericksburg area
