Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support next‑generation Gen IV advanced reactor technologies, including the groundbreaking Natrium Reactor. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, verification, and performance of the primary sodium mechanical pump for the Natrium demonstration plant.
This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic R&D environment, enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges, and is motivated by the opportunity to influence the future of nuclear energy.

This is a fully remote engineering position focused on R&D, design review, and verification. You will work with some of the most advanced technologies in the clean‑energy sector, contributing directly to the development of next‑generation nuclear reactor systems. This role provides the opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges and support one of the most innovative energy projects of our time.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
