Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – R&D

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months

Role Summary

Hands-on R&D role focused on designing, building, and testing mechanical systems for advanced lab/diagnostic equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Design mechanical subsystems (electro-mechanical, thermal, pneumatic)
• Build and test prototypes
• Support system integration and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Create CAD models and technical documentation

What You Need

• Degree in Mechanical/Bioengineering or related
• 2–5 years of hands-on mechanical design experience
• Strong skills in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
• Experience with prototyping and testing
• Knowledge of thermal systems and complex mechanical assemblies

Nice to Have

• Life science or diagnostic instrumentation experience
• Exposure to fluidics (not required)
• Familiarity with Python/LabVIEW or simulation tools
