This Mechanical Engineer role focuses on the design and delivery of HVAC and overall MEP systems for institutional and government projects. You will take full ownership of projects from initial concept and design through construction, performing detailed engineering work, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting construction administration. This position offers strong growth potential, including the opportunity to progress to Senior Engineer and beyond, while working on complex building systems in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
This role is based primarily in an office environment in Bohemia, with occasional site visits, typically starting at about once per week and potentially increasing depending on project needs. In the office, you will work with design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD and, when applicable, Revit, while collaborating closely with other engineers and project team members. Site visits involve field survey work focused on observing and assessing existing conditions; there is no requirement for testing or disassembly of systems. The schedule is flexible, allowing you to choose your start and end times as long as you maintain a consistent pattern that supports project and team needs. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $57.68/hr.
