We are looking for a hands-on, innovation-driven R&D & Validation Engineer to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will lead testing, verification, and validation of new technologies - from early-stage concepts to evaluated solutions - supporting data-driven decisions and future product development.
This role requires a strong experimental mindset, curiosity, and the ability to translate ideas into structured testing and meaningful insights.
What You’ll Do• Plan, design, and execute experimental testing and validation activities for new and emerging technologies
• Evaluate materials, resins, and technologies from internal and external sources for compatibility with our systems
• Translate concepts into structured experiments, analyze results, and recommend next steps
• Generate clear technical insights to support R&D, Product, and Chemistry teams (e.g., performance, durability, print time)
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electronics, Software, Chemistry)
• Identify technical challenges and propose innovative, practical solutions
• Support and advance lab capabilities, including implementation of new tools and technologies
• Work with machine vision and analytical tools to evaluate performance and quality
• Document and communicate findings through clear technical reports and presentations
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an experimental / development lab environment
• Experience in inkjet / printing industry (digital printing, printed electronics, inkjet technologies) – must
• Experience with testing, validation, or verification processes in R&D
• Familiarity with Xaar inkjet technology or ImageXpert analysis tools
• Strong analytical skills, including experimental design and data analysis
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive activities end-to-end
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
• High level of English (written and spoken)
• Familiarity with machine vision or analytical tools – advantage
• Travel (~10%)
