Pay Rate: $65,000–$85,000 per year

Sterling Engineering is hiring a Mechanical Designer & Drafter for a growing, internationally recognized manufacturer of specialized industrial machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to work on custom machine designs from concept through production. Key Responsibilities:

• Create sets of drawings of mechanical components using 3-D modeling per machine order
• Create mechanical bills of materials per machine order.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and technology advancements to machine designs.
• Create technical documentation and user manuals.
• Assist sales department and production team with technical information and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience in mechanical drafting, design, or engineering-related roles
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD design software (Inventor would be ideal)
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
