We have a 9+ month contract position for a Mechanical Design Engineer available with the following:
Job Description
Develop and maintain a 3–5-year product roadmap. Identify emerging technologies in motion control, automation, hydraulics, and structural systems. Lead new product platform development initiatives. Standardize core modules across product lines (drives, frames, controls, etc.)
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS is a plus)
3+ years of engineering experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery is ideal
Experience leading technical projects from concept to launch
Experience working with ProE Creo software and Windchill data management environments Structural steel design & weldments, hydraulic components, Industrial motion systems, Mechanical power transmission.
Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders.
Pluses:
• Structural analysis (FEA experience)
•Hydraulic system design
• Servo motor and drive applications, PLC integration exposure
• Experience in robotic or welding automation systems
• Lean product development experience
• Experience managing cross-functional teams / Leadership experience
