MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY | ONSITE | LOUISVILLE, KY

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineers Level II and III to join a dynamic team based in Louisville, KY. You will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical engineering designs and performing calculations to support our projects. Your expertise will be crucial in producing mechanical system layouts, installation drawings, and fabrication drawings, ensuring consistency and compliance throughout our design practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce mechanical system layouts, installation drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistent design practices and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive AutoCAD drawing sets.
• Support the review and approval of submittals, vendor drawings, and design changes.
• Provide technical input during project planning, installation, and commissioning phases.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Strong experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Experience with installation drawings and system design.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor and conveyor systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to produce detailed and accurate drawing and design packages.
• Knowledge of layer controls in AutoCAD.

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
