Mechanical Claims Specialist

• Evaluate, investigate, and process mechanical claims in accordance with warranty guidelines
• Analyze vehicle repair concerns to determine claim approval, denial, or required next steps
• Communicate professionally via phone and email with dealerships, repair facilities, and vehicle owners
• Clearly explain claim decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Guide customers through the claims process, including obtaining repair estimates and required documentation
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic claim records using internal systems
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while addressing customer questions and concerns
• Collaborate with fellow claims analysts and leadership to ensure consistent, fair, and high‑quality service

• Dealership Repair Requests:
• Review proposed vehicle repairs and determine coverage based on warranty criteria
• Claim Decision Inquiries:
• Explain approvals or denials to vehicle owners in clear, customer‑friendly terms
• Process Guidance Calls:
• Advise customers on next steps, required documentation, and repair authorization processes

• Minimum 3 years of automotive mechanic or mechanical repair experience
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes
• Ability to explain technical repair information to non‑mechanical individuals
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Experience resolving complex issues while maintaining professionalism
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Email)
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems and screens simultaneously
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
• High school diploma or GED required

• ASE Certification
• Experience using labor guides such as AllData or Mitchell
• Familiarity with automotive scan tools (preferred but not required)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates preferred

• Willingness to travel to Deerfield Beach, FL or St. Louis, MO for a 2‑week onboarding training
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a quiet home workspace for remote or hybrid schedules

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
