Job Description:
This position is needed due to a surge of work in the manufacturing area. This role will be MECHANICAL assembly for flight simulators. The typical day will consist of the build of subassemblies and installations.
• Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operates hand tools, electrical tools, molding, sanding/cutting of acrylic, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Knowledge of and Experience Using Basic Hand Tools. Ability to Use Drill & Drill Bits
• Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
• Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
• Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Operates Fork Trucks and Overhead Cranes to load/unload material and finished products.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Ability to Climb Up to 6 feet (25% of the time)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.
• Works 100% onsite.
• This is a first shift role. Hours are typically 6 AM – 3:00 PM.
