Job Description

We are looking for a skilled assembler with at least 6 months of experience using hand, power, and hydraulic tools. The ideal candidate should have experience with tape measures, possess an understanding of both metric and imperial units, and have the ability to perform conversions. Familiarity with work instructions, blueprints, or manuals is also essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly tasks.
• Utilize hand, power, and hydraulic tools effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manuals.
• Ensure quality and precision in assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience in assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with hand, power, and hydraulic tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manuals.
• Competence in using tape measures and performing metric and imperial conversions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No high school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to train in multiple areas.
• Good attendance and ability to take instruction well.

Work Environment

The work environment requires metatarsal steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection, which will be provided. The setting can be dark, musky, and dirty in some areas, with concrete floors where contractors will stand 75% of the time or more. The typical attire is jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt, with no shorts or sweatpants allowed. You will work 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Fridays. First shift runs from 5 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift is from 3:30 pm to 2 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Shady Grove,PA.
