The Transmission Operations department is seeking to hire a Mechanic B (WELDER) to support the department by using knowledge of welding, reading blueprints, and electrical schematics to perform routine welding procedures.
Core Responsibilities
Mechanic B's are responsible for using blueprints, sketches, and electrical schematics to perform welding procedures.
Mechanic B's are responsible for welding pressure piping and utilizing oxygen/acetylene cutting on steel plates/piping.
Mechanic B's will perform welding procedures on electrical systems in enclosed spaces.
Mechanic B's will utilize hand/power tools to perform maintenance as needed.
Mechanic B's troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
