We are now accepting summer internship applications for the Division on Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing for students with intermediate to advanced American Sign Language (ASL) skills who are eager to grow their fluency through immersive, community-based experiences.
Responsibilities:
At the time of internship, the applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Applicants must have intermediate to advanced ASL skills and be actively enrolled in an Interpreter Training Program (ITP) or a related field focused on serving the Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing communities.
Applicants who are working toward a degree in Deaf Studies, ASL Interpreting, Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, and/or Sociology are preferred.
