BAPTIST HEALTH SOUTH FLORIDA INC. in Miami, FL seeks an MCI Clinical Analyst to apply healthcare business and LIMS knowledge in engaging customers to define goals and objectives and gather requirements related to biorepository, protocol support lab and molecular diagnostic lab and other related tasks and procedures. Lead the efforts in designing, implementing, integrating, and configuring LIMS applications according to requirement specifications and ensuring data integrity and compliance. Manage integration efforts with external biospecimen marketplace and design and develop internal biospecimen and data sharing platform for the Biospecimen Repository Facility. Manage and support LIMS Labvantage day to day operations including system administration, performance tuning, maintenance, updates, new releases, and troubleshooting. Implement and update software applications as per CAP guidelines and maintaining product specifications, troubleshooting guides as well as standard operating procedures related to the department workflows and procedures. Create reports, metric dashboards or extracts for internal quality control and investigator data needs, coordinate with IT teams to maintain business glossary and data dictionary. Scope plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects supporting data quality, performance improvement, and research areas. Provide time estimates in project efforts and provide on-time delivery. Responsible for troubleshooting LIMS and interface related issues, engage and escalate to vendor or internal IT teams for application service restoration.
Qualifications:
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration or a related field plus 5 years of experience in Information Management System. The 5 years of experience must include the following:
(a) 1 year of experience in SQL
(b)1 year of experience in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
(c)1 year of experience in BI Tools
(d)1 year of experience in scientific, business and data analysis.
(e)2 years of experience on integration projects with expertise in clinical application integrations.
(f)2 years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle, Jasper Report,
(g)1 year of experience using Business Intelligence and Tableau.
(h)2 years of experience in statistical background, project management and documentation skills.
