Job Title: Material Handler - Water Spider
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and materials in a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for using various equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move inventory to and from warehouses and storage areas. Additionally, you will perform clerical tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inventory of parts using an MRP system to track information.
  • Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using hand tools such as a crowbar and claw hammer.
  • Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders, and material requisitions.
  • Manage manual and clerical work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain stockroom in an orderly and organized fashion.
  • Perform data entry as needed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments.
  • Assist in the machine shop with deburring and sanding parts.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management, cycle counts, shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and material handling.
  • Must have forklift operation experience.
  • Order picking and data entry skills.
  • Drivers License required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years related inventory experience generating proper documentation.
  • PC literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
