Material Handler / Transloader – Henderson, CO

A large industrial waste‑processing and solvent recycling facility in Henderson, CO is seeking a Material Handler to support day‑to‑day operations. This role is hands‑on, labor‑intensive, and ideal for someone who is reliable, safety‑driven, and comfortable working in an outdoor industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving waste materials — unload, inspect, and stage incoming containers
  • Decontaminating drums and containers — clean, rinse, and prep empty units
  • Creating manifest forms — support accurate tracking of materials
  • General labor and cleaning — manual decontamination and housekeeping tasks
  • Loading and unloading totes, drums, tankers, and trailers
  • RCRA‑compliant disposal — follow strict procedures for handling and disposing of empty containers
Work Environment
  • 24/7 outdoor industrial facility
  • Processes solid and liquid hazardous waste under a RCRA Part B permit
  • Handles materials such as solvents, fuels, inorganic solids, household chemicals, electronics, batteries, paints, propane cylinders, and more
Schedule & Training
  • Training: Day shift for 3–6 months
  • Post‑training: Third shift (6:00 PM – 4:00 AM)
  • $2/hr shift differential applies only after training
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, transloading, oil & gas, or airport ramp/tarmac work
  • Computer literate — able to use Gmail and Teams without assistance
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor
Career Path
  • Clear progression to Material Handler II, III, and Distillation roles
  • Eligibility to test into each level after 6 months

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
