Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution sector, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting the Sign Shop and Distribution Center teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Tipton, IN

Pay Range: $19.75

Shift: 1st shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm with two 15-minute breaks

What's the Job?

• Cut decals, apply decals/stickers, and mount decals on substrates using specialized equipment
• Create signs to fulfill Sign Shop orders and restock inventory as needed
• Read field sign orders, pick and pull signs and sign posts to fulfill customer requests
• Box items and prepare them for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Load and unload materials onto or from trucks and shelves manually, maintaining safety standards

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to listen carefully to instructions and work well with others
• Self-motivated with dependable attendance
• Basic computer skills for creating shipping labels and using scanners
• Maximum lifting requirement of 25 pounds
