Job Description

The Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting repair and test operations by ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and handling of electronic equipment and materials within a clean, climate‑controlled facility. This position supports production flow, inventory accuracy, and safety standards in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. The role focuses on careful product handling, adherence to quality and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards, and reliable support for production, test, and repair teams.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, stage, and move inbound and outbound materials throughout the facility in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Accurately pull, deliver, and transfer products to production, test, and repair areas to support continuous workflow.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks to move materials safely; use forklifts if qualified and as needed.
  • Use scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or internal systems to record and maintain accurate inventory transactions.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare units and orders for shipment according to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including unloading inbound materials and organizing outbound shipments.
  • Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times to protect electronic equipment and maintain a controlled environment.
  • Perform basic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to help maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following 5S standards and general housekeeping practices.
  • Support production teams by ensuring that required materials, components, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Use RF scanners and related devices to locate, track, and verify materials and inventory.
  • Assist with general production tasks and warehouse packing as operational needs require.
  • Handle packaging materials and ensure items are properly labeled, protected, and documented for storage or shipment.
  • Escalate issues or discrepancies related to materials, inventory, or equipment when necessary.
  • Read and follow basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals when required for handling or basic troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational demands in the warehouse and repair facility.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift.
  • Basic computer or scanner experience for inventory and material tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and recording data.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production operations.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced warehouse or repair environment.
  • Strong attention to safety and adherence to established procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience in an electronics, manufacturing, or repair environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices or work in quality‑controlled environments.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and escalate issues when needed.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals related to equipment or systems.
  • Comfort working at heights and climbing ladders when required.

Why Work Here?

You will work in a modern, climate‑controlled, and spacious facility that prioritizes safety, organization, and cleanliness. The environment is team‑oriented and production‑driven, offering clear performance expectations and opportunities to build valuable skills in warehouse operations, electronics handling, and inventory control. You will benefit from stable, structured shifts and the chance to grow your experience with material handling equipment, inventory systems, and quality‑focused processes in a supportive, collaborative setting.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, organized, and safety‑focused warehouse within a climate‑controlled repair facility. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation that supports electronics repair and test activities, rather than a traditional pick‑and‑pack retail warehouse. The environment is team‑oriented and production‑driven, with clear performance expectations and strong emphasis on ESD, safety, and quality procedures. Work involves standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasionally climbing ladders or working at heights. You will use pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts if qualified, along with RF scanners, WMS or internal inventory systems, and standard warehouse and packaging equipment. The facility is temperature‑controlled and designed to support efficient, accurate, and safe material handling throughout each shift.
