Material Handler / General Labor

Job Title: General Labor

Location: Eagan, MN 

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: 7am-330pm Monday-Friday

• Move, load, and unload freight, stock, and other materials between storage areas, production lines, loading docks, and delivery vehicles
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, or other machinery (as applicable) to transport materials safely
• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately
• Label, tag, and organize materials to ensure proper identification and tracking
• Sort and stage materials prior to loading and unloading
• Assemble containers, crates, or packaging materials using hand tools and pre-cut materials
• Pack, repack, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport
• Record quantities and track productivity using daily logs or work tickets
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments using hoisting devices or other equipment when required
• Retrieve and return tools and supplies from storage areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with safety procedures and workplace policies
• Willingness to operate relevant tools and equipment (training provided as needed)

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
