Overview
We are looking for a Material Handler 3 to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role involves both physical handling of materials and administrative tracking of inventory and shipments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
• Store, stock, and distribute materials across warehouse or manufacturing lines
• Package and prepare products for shipment, including labeling and shipment documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
• Review and fulfill customer or internal material requests
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts (as needed)
• Lift and move materials and equipment as required
Must-Have Skills
• Experience with material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations
• Experience packaging products, ideally including delicate or intricate assemblies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Inventory tracking and basic data entry experience
Preferred Skills
• Forklift or MHE experience (certification preferred)
• Experience handling high-value or sensitive components
• Familiarity with process improvement and safety standards
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Work Environment
• On-site in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Requires physical work including lifting and moving materials
Interview Process
• 30-minute phone interview with hiring manager
• 2-hour on-site interview with supervisors and engineers, including facility tour
