Material Handler - 1st Shift - EMPLOYMENT BONUS

ELIGIBLE FOR $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

1st shift position

Performs general labor duties and handle or transport material, using electric hoists/cranes, hand hoists, walking electric lift trucks, hand trucks, brooms, shovels and scrap bins.

· Receives instructions and work assignment from Foreman.

· Loads and unloads material, using electric cranes, hand hoists and overhead crane hooks.

· Uses hand truck or powered industrial vehicle to transport material to various production departments.

· Performs general labor duties, sweeps and cleans plant/yard. Maintains a variety of supplies in wash rooms.

· Connects and disconnects powered industrial vehicle to battery charger. Checks vehicle batteries.

Requirements

• Exercise judgment to hook up and operate electric cranes, powered industrial vehicles.
• Move materials with care to ensure no damage is sustained.
• Moderate physical exertion to attach slings or hooks to load

Working Hours:

1st shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm
