The Materials Coordinator III performs advanced material control activities across all material operations, including stockroom, customer‑owned shipping, robot technical support, cycle counts, customer returns, receiving, and general shipping. This role supports manufacturing and service operations by ensuring accurate inventory control, timely material movement, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
What you’ll do:
- Execute end‑to‑end material control activities across seven functional areas: stockroom, receiving, shipping, customer returns, customer‑owned shipping, and automation/robot support
- Accurately receive, label, store, pick, ship, and transact materials using FIFO principles and SAP
- Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and support root cause analysis
- Supporting automation technologies, including troubleshooting autonomous delivery equipment
- Prepare and process customer returns, repairs, and service orders in SAP
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality systems (ISO 9001/13485, FDA QSR), environmental, and safety requirements
- Monitor defects, waste, and delivery issues and communicate findings to leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and shipment records
- Participate in 6S activities, continuous improvement, and training initiatives
What you’ll bring:

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in materials, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical Skills:
- Strong SAP knowledge (required)
- Proficiency with Excel and in‑house systems (3–5 years preferred)
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and MSDS documentation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Proven teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Use of pallet jacks; climbing, bending, and reaching as required
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to handle packaged hazardous materials and comply with PPE requirements
