Overview
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Masonry Sales Representative to grow and support our customer base while promoting and selling high-quality masonry products. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys working closely with contractors, municipal agencies, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions that meet project requirements.The Masonry Sales Representative is integral to business development, customer satisfaction, pricing strategy, and collections, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and collaboration across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Present, promote, and sell company products to existing and prospective customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and city and state purchasing personnel
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, markets, and product lines
- Research project requirements to identify sales opportunities
- Establish and maintain accurate pricing for products and services within the accounting system
- Prepare and deliver product and freight quotations
- Monitor job progress and ensure accuracy of orders, tickets, and delivery details
- Maintain detailed and accurate sales, activity, and expense reports
- Perform credit and collection efforts for assigned customers with overdue accounts
- Assist with dispatch operations as needed to support customer requirements
- Collaborate with managers and internal teams to align product availability, costs, and pricing
- Maintain an insurable driving record
- Adhere to and promote all safety and health policies and procedures
- Perform additional operational or administrative duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret financial information
- Strategic thinker with market awareness and sales insight
- Working knowledge of concrete, masonry, and aggregate products preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technical sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Prior experience in construction materials, masonry, or related sales preferred
