Our client, a renowned professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Manager to lead their RFP, pitch, and awards programs. This strategic role plays a vital part in positioning the firm for growth by managing high-impact proposals, developing content strategies, and collaborating with leadership to showcase the firm’s expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the firm’s RFP, pitch, and awards processes, including supervising proposals and content creation.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals and submissions.
- Partner with attorneys, senior managers, and cross-functional teams to craft tailored, strategic responses aligned with client needs.
- Write, review, and refine proposals, awards submissions, and marketing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and client focus.
- Identify and pursue new RFP and pitch opportunities, maintaining a proactive pipeline and submission strategy.
- Collaborate with Business Development and external partners to enhance proposal workflows, templates, and reporting tools.
- Support thought leadership initiatives through content development, including articles, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Continuously evaluate and improve proposal processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain institutional knowledge of clients, market trends, and competitive positioning to inform content and proposal strategies.
- Manage and refine content across multiple channels, including the website, email newsletters, and social media platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 7–10 years of professional experience, preferably within professional services.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end RFP and proposal processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools; experience with iManage is a plus.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Experience in securities litigation or related legal practice areas preferred.
- Prior experience with content management systems and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of market trends and client development strategies within professional services.
