We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the operational execution of marketing initiatives across the Vets Pets network.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring marketing initiatives across the Vets Pets network are executed with accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of attention to detail. This role is responsible for coordinating events, supporting social media execution, organizing marketing assets, and maintaining clear visibility across active marketing projects.
This position is well-suited for someone who finds satisfaction in keeping moving parts aligned, timelines on track, and details accounted for. You take ownership of logistics, anticipate needs before they arise, and bring structure to complex, multi-location initiatives.
In addition, this role supports content development and collection, including basic photography and video capture, ensuring that content is thoughtfully gathered, organized, and ready to support social media and broader marketing efforts.
Willingness to travel out of state by car or airplane, including overnight and day trips, for events and on-site support
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Execution
Coordinate and execute the planning and logistics for events across the Vets Pets network, including brand days, hospital events, recruiting initiatives, professional conferences and industry gatherings, continuing education opportunities, and internal meetings or team events. Each event requires thoughtful coordination, clear communication, and a high standard of accuracy to ensure consistent and well-executed experience.
Responsibilities Include
- Plans, attends, and coordinates necessary aspects of Vets Pets events while taking ownership of the process
- Trains and equips Vets Pets practices for different kinds of events
- Ensures seamless execution of events and manages all event-related logistics and vendors
- Plans and coordinates Brand Days with practices to capture images and videos of staff, pets, and headshots for practice-specific marketing efforts
Content Creation & Social Media Management
Support Social Media Initiatives Across The Vets Pets Network, Ensuring Content Is Accurate, Consistently Executed, And Aligned With Established Brand Standards Across All Hospitals And Channels
- Creates and edits copy, images, and videos to craft compelling and engaging content per Vets Pets brand guidance
- Oversees Vets Pets' social media channels, following the guidance of the VP of Marketing and the Marketing Manager
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports on social media and digital marketing performance metrics
- Supports Vets Pets practices with their social media needs through training, access provision, community building, and posting when necessary
General Marketing Support
- Monitor the marketing request inbox and support organized intake of requests
- Maintain structured organization of digital marketing assets for easy access and consistency
- Track marketing asset inventory, marketing calendars, timelines, and deadlines to keep projects on track
- Assist with marketing projects, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly including print
- Coordinate print and signage orders and shipment of marketing materials to hospitals and events
- Communicate with vendors to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
- Provide light website support, including updates to hours, contact information, images, and content
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and brand standards
- Highly organized with the ability to track details and coordinate multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clear, consistent execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital marketing tools
- Experience creating on-brand assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of photography and video capture, with basic editing skills
- Able to work independently while maintaining accountability for deadlines and deliverables
Education And Experience
- 1-3+ years of experience working in marketing, advertising, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting content creation, events, or multi-location marketing initiatives strongly preferred
- Strong writing skills and ability to adapt writing style to appeal to different audiences
- Veterinary and/or Healthcare industry experience a bonus
- Experience or knowledge about producing a wide variety of marketing collateral
- Experience using Email Marketing Tools and CRMs
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time and walk intermittently
