Title: MFG Test Engineer II (Intel Server Hardware Validation)

About the role

Join a hardware engineering team supporting advanced Intel-based server motherboard platforms within a defense/aerospace manufacturing environment. This role focuses on hardware validation, board-level debug, root-cause analysis, and test strategy development supporting high-performance computing systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience debugging Intel server platforms and performing system-level hardware validation within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced debug and root-cause analysis activities on Intel server motherboard platforms
  • Develop and execute validation plans, test procedures, and debug methodologies
  • Perform board-level diagnostics and troubleshooting activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with:
  • Design Engineering
  • BIOS/Firmware teams
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Quality teams
  • Utilize hardware debug tools including:
  • ITP
  • JTAG
  • Logic analyzers
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and test optimization
  • Improve test reliability, efficiency, and first-pass yields
  • Support manufacturing and production test flow activities
  • Mentor junior engineers and support test methodology improvements
  • Maintain technical documentation, reports, and validation records


Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of hardware validation/debug experience preferred
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Intel processor/server architecture
  • Server motherboard debug
  • Hardware validation
  • System-level troubleshooting
  • Strong experience with debug tools including:
  • ITP
  • JTAG
  • Logic analyzers
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Experience developing and executing validation plans and test procedures
  • Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in fast-paced environments
  • U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED (proof required)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scripting/automation tools such as:
  • Python
  • Perl
  • Experience supporting manufacturing test environments or production validation
  • Familiarity with quality systems or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics industries


Compensation

  • Estimated hourly range: $44–$46/hr (W-2)
  • Final rate will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
  • Work Schedule: 1st Shift | 9/80 Schedule | 7:30 AM Start
  • Work Location: 100% Onsite – Hudson, NH
  • Contract Duration: 6+ Months
  • Potential for extension or conversion available
