Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for preparing small batches of material for commercialization. Each day begins with a team meeting to establish priorities and focus on two primary processes: extracting enzymes from pig glands and using laboratory equipment such as column chromatography and UV spectrophotometry to scale small-batch products for commercial readiness.

Work Environment
This role offers flexibility with shift options: 3rd shift (6 pm – 6 am) on Friday and Saturday with an optional Thursday or Sunday. Candidates can choose between a 24-hour or 36-hour workweek. Weekend shifts include a $6.00/hour schedule incentive, and a $1.50/hour differential applies to the 3rd shift. Training occurs Monday-Friday on either the 1st or 2nd shift, consisting of 8-hour days and lasting from 3 to 9 months. The manufacturing environment includes one large suite and several smaller suites, with some areas requiring navigation of stairs. The facility operates on a single floor, spanning the entire plant.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $69680.00/yr.
