Akkodis is seeking Manufacturing Technician is 12 months (Contract) with a client located in Malabar FL (Onsite)


Pay Range: $22-$26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Specify Shift

  • 2nd shift will start at 3:30PM-2:00PM
  • Training will need to occur on 1st shift


Must- Haves

  • Soldering skills required: J-Standard and IPC 610 certifications required
  • Soldering sample test required for the interview
  • Ability to use small hand tools;
  • Torque tool experience required.
  • Good communication skills

  • Teamwork


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 0-3 years related experience.


Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

  • Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.

  • Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.
