Job Description
The Quality Engineer will work closely with manufacturing teams on the production floor to ensure products consistently meet customer and quality requirements. This role will analyze quality data and trends, lead root cause investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions using tools such as 8D, DMAIC, and 5‑Why. Day to day, they’ll lead quality improvement initiatives tied to metrics like cost of quality, inspection data, and customer escapes, while supporting PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows to reduce risk. The Quality Engineer will conduct quality audits, support nonconformance and rework activities, and partner cross‑functionally to resolve customer complaints and support new product development. They’ll also provide technical guidance and training on quality tools, ensure compliance across testing and validation activities, and help drive consistent quality performance across operations while promoting strong safety practices.
