Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for products, including the creation of new processes and improvement of existing ones.
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to establish and document standard operating procedures.
- Perform testing and measurement activities across various production stages to ensure process control and consistency.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to production processes and equipment already in operation.
- Recommend appropriate tooling and test equipment to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Evaluate and suggest adoption of new technologies, equipment, and materials to improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Work closely with internal teams and external customers to identify, analyze, and resolve complex manufacturability challenges from start to finish.
Preferred Profile
- Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards and practices.
- Hands-on experience with conventional machining processes.
- Familiarity with special processes such as brazing, heat treatment, chemical processing, and/or painting
