A respected and growing precision machining manufacturer is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements, optimize CNC machining operations, and drive manufacturing excellence across a high-volume production environment. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across machining operations
- Optimize CNC machining processes, tooling, cycle times, and production flow
- Support new product launches and manufacturing readiness
- Analyze production data to identify waste reduction and efficiency gains
- Develop work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
- Evaluate new equipment, automation, and machining technologies
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement long-term solutions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in CNC machining environments
- Strong background in CNC programming, machining operations, and process optimization
- Experience with horizontal machining centers, turning centers, or automated machining systems preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
- Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
