Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Work Arrangement: Onsite



Schedule: Typical hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.


Team & Environment

Fast-paced, hands-on production environment with a strong emphasis on equipment uptime


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support focused on the shop floor
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues in partnership with maintenance
  • Support production operations and ensure machines remain operational
  • Train operators and maintenance on equipment and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement related to equipment use, reliability, and efficiency
  • Support equipment rotation, upgrades, and process optimization
  • Maintain a strong on-floor presence (approximately 90% of time)

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Maintenance teams (equipment troubleshooting and uptime)
  • Production and operations employees
  • Other engineers for knowledge sharing and overflow support
  • Site leadership and HR/TA partners for planning and support


Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience supporting equipment-intensive manufacturing environments
  • Strong exposure to shop-floor operations

  • Highly hands-on and comfortable spending the majority of time on the production floor
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly around equipment and maintenance issues
  • Able to learn new equipment and processes quickly
  • Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic, growing operation
  • Collaborative team player across operations, maintenance, and engineering
  • Self-directed and capable of independently owning floor engineering responsibilities
