Manufacturing Engineer III (2036)

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain CNC programs using NX CAM or similar software
• Work across multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and/or EDM
• Verify CNC programs using Vericut before shop floor release
• Provide CNC programming support to Manufacturing Engineers
• Train operators during machine startup and process improvements
• Troubleshoot CNC-related issues on the shop floor
• Support tooling and fixturing requirements
• Develop and maintain workstation instructions
• Lead process improvement initiatives (safety, quality, cost, delivery)
• Collaborate effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with NX CAM (NX1953 or later)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Machine Tool Technology
• Experience with 5-axis CNC programming
• Experience machining high-temperature superalloys (Aerospace/HDGT)
• Experience with Vericut
• Knowledge of advanced machine controls (macros, Renishaw probing, CLM)
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Siemens Sinumerik ONE
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and shop math skills
