Manufacturing Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an Aviation company located in Grand Rapids, MI. In this position you will be responsible is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. The role requires strong manufacturing engineering expertise, project management capability, and a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Pay Range: $35-$40/HR. 1st shift!

Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Ensure product producibility and testability (Design for Manufacturability) upon entry into service.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance production processes to ensure safe and cost‑effective assembly, test, and inspection.
• Drive productivity and product quality improvements through process changes.
• Assess, design, and validate tool and equipment needs to support safe, timely, and cost‑effective production.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and implementation of tooling and support equipment, meeting established budgets and timelines.
