Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2 seeking 2-5+ years of experience. For more experienced candidates there is a chance of upgrading this to a level III role.)

Exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in a CNC mill manufacturing environment! In this role, you will design and develop manufacturing processes and program the machines in CAM software. Our client is growing rapidly and there is a lot of opportunity to grow.

Core Requirements
  • 2- 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • CNC programming, machining, and process improvement (mills)
  • CAD/CAM (Mastercam preferred), GD&T, and ERP systems
  • Continuous improvement and structured problem solving
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project‑management skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment
  • Create and approve work instructions; maintain routings and BOMs in ERP
  • Support new product launches and process changes, including training and validation
  • Develop, test, and justify tooling, fixtures, and production equipment
  • Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Resolve production quality issues and support NCR activities
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
