🚀 About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing, highly profitable manufacturing organization in the industrial electrification and material handling space seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Area Supervisor to lead second shift operations.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll drive production performance, lead a team, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Lead daily production operations to meet output and shipment goals
- Manage production schedules, labor allocation, and workflow efficiency
- Train, coach, and develop a team of 15–20 employees
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality processes, and safety regulations
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
- Oversee engineering change orders and production documentation
- Drive Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and implement efficiency improvements
- Maintain a strong culture of safety and accountability
- Provide hands-on leadership on the production floor
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing leadership/supervisory experience
- 5–7+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in ISO-certified environments strongly preferred
- Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, and process documentation
- ERP experience (SAP preferred; Oracle/JD Edwards acceptable)
- Familiarity with OSHA standards (OSHA 10/30 a plus)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
