Job Requirements POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Tapestry Enrollment, leads and oversees the day-to-day operations for Tapestry Applications Analysts’, accountable for delivery high-quality system services to Health First Health Plans (HFHP) stakeholders and members. The Manager, Tapestry Enrollment directly manages and provides oversight for Enrollment, Medicare Advantage and Individual lines of business Eligibility, configuration of Customer Service via Epic Cheers, and Premium Billing. The Manager, Tapestry Enrollment verifies and cultivates the maximum possible return on Information Technology (IT) investment(s), ensuring to provide superior service to members, Associates, licensed practitioners, and brokers.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages day-to-day operations for all work assigned across Tapestry Applications Analysts’, leading client-facing discussions to understand business direction and produce proactive plans to produce results in a highly dynamic and formative environment regarding Tapestry Membership systems.
- Develops, plans, and manages operations within Tapestry Membership lines of business, including but not limited to; Enrollment, and member Eligibility for both Medicare Advantage and Individual lines of HFHP.
- Oversees the configuration of Tapestry Customer Service via Epic Cheers and Premium Billing applications.
- Partners with IT leaders to verify projects, issues, and ideas are addressed effectively, continuing to provide a positive working environment across the department.
- Supports department leadership by providing timely and proactive updates, via regularly scheduled meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
- Works with their Tapestry Applications Analysts’ and other departments in identifying the nature and impact of problems or issues, as well as providing timely communication for any escalated problems or issues that will affect the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN).
- Identifies and presents opportunities for budgetary and application improvement, aiming to enhance the needs, and provide a positive impact to customers.
- Ensures to remain abreast of current technology developments, and works to understand how department duties relate to other areas and to utilize team resources effectively.

Work Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a relevant field.
- Work Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in operations, process improvement, or Information Technology within the healthcare environment.
- Licensure: None
- Certification: Epic certification within six (6) months of start date and maintained.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Advanced level of understanding and application of systems concepts and their integration with IT problem solving skills.
- Successful communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to present to various levels of audience (e.g., senior/executive leadership, external partners).
- Ability to solve complex problems, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop, present, and carry out resolutions.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and apply new skills
- Effective team building, organizational, and support management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Seven (7) years’ experience with Tapestry Membership systems and line(s) of business.
- Prior experience working in HFHP, or another health plans environment.
- Certification: Epic certification(s).
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Advanced knowledge of healthcare processes, including state, federal, and regulatory agency requirements (e.g., HIPPA).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping.
- Long periods of computer time or at workstation.
- Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
- May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks.
- Workspace may vary from open to confined.
- May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
