Position Summary


We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Operations & Strategic Projects who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute. This is not a purely advisory role. The ideal candidate will combine Medical Affairs knowledge with strong project management, analytical, and operational skills to support client engagements from strategy through implementation.


This individual will help build Medical Affairs infrastructure for clients, support strategic assessments, conduct business and market diligence, manage timelines, create deliverables, and ensure flawless execution across multiple high-priority initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Delivery & Execution
  • Support enterprise clients with day-to-day implementation of Medical Affairs initiatives.
  • Build project plans, timelines, trackers, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Execute operational workstreams rather than only advising.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, summaries, and recommendations.
  • Medical Affairs Support Services


Assist in building and optimizing:


  • Medical Affairs operating models
  • MSL deployment plans and field activity frameworks
  • Scientific platform / core messaging materials
  • Medical Information processes
  • SOPs, governance, and compliance documentation
  • Launch readiness plans
  • Advisory board and KOL engagement logistics
  • Congress planning support
  • Training and onboarding programs
  • Strategic Research & Diligence
  • Conduct market landscaping, competitor analysis, and company profiling.
  • Support strategic due diligence projects across healthcare, biotech, and life sciences sectors.
  • Analyze industry trends, pipelines, management teams, and commercial opportunities.
  • Synthesize findings into concise decision-making memos and presentations.
  • Gather intelligence from public filings, earnings calls, publications, and market sources.


Internal Growth Initiatives

Support ACMA’s expansion into enterprise consulting and outsourced services.

Help improve internal processes, templates, and client delivery playbooks.

Participate in client meetings and business development support as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; PharmD, PhD, MBA, MPH or life sciences background preferred
  • Professional Board Certified in Medical Affairs (BCMAS) preferred
  • 4–8 years of experience in pharma, biotech, healthcare consulting, Medical Affairs, or related field
  • Strong project management and execution capabilities
  • Experience creating polished PowerPoint and Excel deliverables
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort reviewing data and synthesizing insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid in-office environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting MSL teams or Medical Affairs organizations
  • Experience in consulting, strategy, diligence, or transaction support work
  • Familiarity with biotech/pharma pipelines and clinical development
  • Exposure to emerging biotech or pre-commercial companies
  • Comfortable in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments
  • Success Metrics (First 12 Months)
  • Successfully support flagship client engagements such as Capricor-related initiatives
  • Build repeatable execution systems for ACMA consulting projects
  • Deliver high-quality diligence and market intelligence projects
  • Improve speed and quality of client deliverables
  • Become a trusted internal operator across strategic initiatives
