HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Directs designated quality improvement activities and functions.
- Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
- Oversees departmental functions of the Improvement Advisor(s) II, Utilization Review Clinician(s), and RN/Clinical Education Coord(s).
- Directs Behavioral Health Center (BHC) safety processes and administrative functions and processes (in consultation with supervisor) in accordance with BHC policies and procedures.
- Maintains compliance with required training in accordance with established time frames.
- Performs other duties.
Reports To:Dir/Inpatient Services (job code (JC): 110101)
Supervises:Improvement Advisor II (JC: 247402), Utilization Review Clinician (JC: 247202), and RN [Registered Nurse]/Clinical Education Coord (JC: 036903)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field
Preferred Education:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of relevant, job-related work experience within a mental health setting
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3) years of relevant professional performance improvement/quality assurance administrative experience and/or experience in an inpatient mental health setting.
- Professional, clinical experience in a psychiatric community mental health or hospital setting.
Required Certification/License/Registry: None.
