Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager of Operations - Women and Children's Services - Mineola.
In this role, the successful candidate, under the guidance of the Vice President, Hospital Operations, Women and Children's Services, the Operations Manager is responsible for providing operations support, project management and process improvement to optimize the applicable at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island.
Job Responsibilities:

Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices
Excellent analytical, organization and planning skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills applicable to a wide variety of audiences
Strong working knowledge of hospital operations sufficient to perform analyses, report preparation, generation of recommendations and development of improvement plans
Experience with collecting, analyzing, and modeling data with the ability to articulate findings
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, Ability to approach new problems and develop a systematic, comprehensive solution
Ability to manage change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree. 2 years of Hospital Operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
Experience using Tableau, Visio, and Decision Support reporting programs
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $96,418.83 - $114,660.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
