Position Overview

As the Manager of Nursing for our Trauma ICU, you’ll lead at the heart of high-acuity care—where clinical excellence, rapid decision-making, and compassionate leadership come together to save lives every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Inspire: Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing ICU nursing team. Create an environment where nurses feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.
  • Drive Clinical Excellence: Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, high-quality care aligned with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Own Operations: Oversee staffing, budgeting, and daily operations for a fast-paced Trauma ICU, balancing quality outcomes with cost-effective care.
  • Be a Change Agent: Champion innovation, process improvement, and a learning culture that continuously advances patient care.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner closely with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and elevate patient experience.
  • Develop Talent: Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, and professional development of nursing staff.
  • Strengthen Relationships: Serve as a key liaison between staff, physicians, leadership, and the community.

What You Bring

  • Current or ability to obtain Nevada RN license
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (or in progress)
  • Previous nursing leadership or management experience
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Passion for team development, patient-centered care, and operational excellence
